Los Angeles-based freelance journalist and author Sam Quinones will share what he has learned from his studies of community responses to fentanyl, meth and opioid use as detailed in his latest book, "The Least of Us: True Tales of America and Hope in the Time of Fentanyl and Meth."

This event is sponsored by Mayors and Business Leaders for Public Safety, a coalition of Snohomish county governments, private businesses and individuals coming together to find innovative approaches to public safety issues.

This event will be held at 6:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.) in The Commons at Cavelero Mid High School in Lake Stevens. The event is FREE to the public, but is a ticketed event and seating is limited.
